Where Art meets Fantasy This collection begins with original oil paintings by Matt Hendrick, quadriplegic fine artist using mouth painting, and reimagined by Andrew Blevins, digital artist using AI and design tools. The collaborative results bring forth the personalities and story behind each portrait.
Matt and Andrew explore what each portrait might say and where in the world each might choose to live. Each piece takes at least 20 hours to create. Using mouth painting, Matt’s original portraits take 10-12 hours to complete. Andrew then spends 8-10 hours using the original art as seed images to develop story-rich characters in AI and digital tools.
